At Dr. Fathi Emara Medical Polyclinic, our Endodontics Department is led by Dr. Zuhdi Azzam, a highly experienced endodontist with over 20 years in dental practice. He earned his DDS in 2004 and a Master’s Degree in Endodontics in 2010, and has since become a respected clinician, educator, and international speaker in the field.

 

Dr. Zuhdi’s expertise focuses on advanced and complex endodontic care, including retreatments, curved or blocked canals, instrument retrieval, perforation repair, internal resorption management, and apical surgeries with retrograde fillings. For the past 14 years, he has specialized in micro-endodontics, utilizing state-of-the-art technologies such as the endodontic microscope, CBCT imaging, irrigation activation systems, warm vertical condensation, MTA applications for open apex and perforation repair, and bio-ceramic sealers for superior obturation outcomes.

 

In addition to his clinical excellence, Dr. Zuhdi has a strong academic background. He has taught at three dental colleges, trained numerous dental students, conducted scientific research, and frequently lectures at international dental conferences.

 

Under his leadership, our endodontic team delivers exceptional precision, skill, and patient-centered care—even in the most challenging root canal cases.
